For the dreamers, romantics & the
I'm a South Alabama-based photographer with a deep love for capturing life's most genuine moments. As a wife, mom, and dog-mom, I know how quickly time passes and how important it is to hold onto the little things—the warmth of the sun on my face, the sound of waves rolling onto shore, the way my son’s laughter fills a room and lingers long after. Life is a collection of passing moments, and I’m here to help you preserve the ones that make it truly meaningful.
Hi Lovebirds!
About the experience
Growing up, my parents weren’t the type to take a lot of photos. I always wished they had a nice camera to capture my sports games or high school events. So, for Christmas in 2017, my now-husband gifted me my first camera—a crop sensor with two kit lenses. I had a lot to learn, but my only goal at the time was to take cool photos of my brother playing football and my dogs. Nothing too serious.
Once I had the camera in my hands, I dove into learning everything I could. I wasn’t aiming for high-end photography, but I still wanted my photos to look great. The more I practiced, the more I found myself photographing people—and I fell in love with it. That passion led me to take my first photography courses (Amy & Jordan, to be exact), and things started rolling from there.
By Christmas of 2018, I offered my first mini-sessions—$20 Christmas minis. I wasn’t even breaking even on the props I had bought (rookie mistake, haha), but I was loving every second of it. Then, in the summer of 2019, my father-in-law got remarried, and I photographed his wedding. It was in a dark community center, but I managed to make it look beautiful. I was so proud of what I had created. A few months later, my husband's cousin got married in that same venue and asked me to capture their wedding too.
For someone just starting out, I kept surprising myself. And then, I was hooked. Weddings became my passion.
From there, it was a journey filled with education, second shooting, and photographing smaller weddings—each experience shaping me into the photographer I am today. Every step of the way has been invaluable, and I wouldn’t trade a single part of it.
